Appointment of Non-Executive Director

Plastics Capital plc (AIM: PLA) the niche plastics products manufacturer, is pleased to announce the appointment of Keith Oliver Butler-Wheelhouse, 64, as Non-Executive Director of the Company with effect from 18 January 2011.

From 1996-2008, Keith was CEO at Smiths Group and has held senior management positions at Saab Automobile, Delta Motor Corporation, General Motors South Africa and Ford Motor Company. Keith is currently the Non-Executive Chairman of Niu Solutions, the experts in IT and telecoms solutions and has previously held Non-Executive directorships at Sainsbury's plc, Atlas Copco AB, Delta Motor Corporation ZA and General Motors Europe.
