YULE CATTO & CO PLC
Change of Auditor
Yule Catto & Co plc ("the Company") announces that the Board has appointed PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP ("PwC") as auditor for the Company with effect from 12 July 2012.
Having engaged Deloitte LLP ("Deloitte") as the Company's auditor since 1 August 2002, the Board, on the recommendation of the Audit Committee, decided that it was appropriate to put the Company audit out to competitive tender. The tender process was initiated in April 2012 and following formal proposals and presentations from three firms, PwC was successful in this process. Deloitte has consequently resigned as auditor of the Company and as required by section 519(3) of the Companies Act 2006, has deposited with the Company a statement of the circumstances ("Statement") connected with its resignation. It is now a requirement of the Companies Act 2006 that a copy of such Statement be sent to all shareholders. The Statement, received by the Company on 11 July 2012 will be enclosed with a letter to be sent to Shareholders shortly.
Deloitte's Statement has been, and the shareholders' letter will be, submitted to the National Storage Mechanism and will shortly be available for inspection at www. hemscott.com/nsm.do and will also be available on the Company's website http://www.yulecatto.com/yulecatto/site.nsf/page!openform&page=investorhome
