Appointment of Chief Executive

Further to the announcement made on 20 February 2006 Yule Catto & Co plc ('Yule
Catto') is pleased to announce that Adrian Whitfield will succeed Alex Walker as
Chief Executive with effect from 17 August 2006.

The Board of Yule Catto pays tribute to Alex Walker for the skill and dedication
with which he has exercised his responsibilities as Chief Executive over the
last 20 years.
