Exercise of options and Directors' shareholdings

The Company was informed today that certain Directors exercised share options in the ordinary shares of 25p each ("Ordinary Share") of the Company on 30 April 2013 as follows:

A further 20,000 share options in the 1996 Approved Share Option Scheme have been exercised at an option price of 71.88p per share by other employees.

The exercise of options will be satisfied by Ordinary Shares held by the Company in treasury.

The Company has also been informed today that Simon Morris has purchased 5,000 ordinary shares at a price of 100.0p per share, representing 0.1% of the Company's voting rights.

Following the exercise of the share options Mervyn Keene sold 10,000 Ordinary Shares to Jim Shears through his SIPP at a price of 91.50p per share.  The shares will be held by Hargreaves Lansdown Nominees Limited and the beneficial owner of the shares will be the SIPP controlled by Jim Shears.

Following the exercise of the share options Phil Ratcliffe sold and subsequently repurchased through his AXA Elevate pension fund 18,400 Ordinary Shares.  The shares will be held by AXA Elevate and the beneficial owner of the shares will be the pension fund controlled by Phil Ratcliffe.

Following the exercise of these options and share purchases, the Company has 4,669,754 Ordinary Shares in issue and 1,343,726 Ordinary Shares in treasury and the Directors are beneficially interested in Ordinary Shares as follows:
