Tanfield Group Plc ('Tanfield' or the 'Company')
Contract Wins
The Board of Tanfield is pleased to announce that the group has won two
significant contracts. The Group subsidiary Smiths Electric Vehicles ('SEV') has
won its first fleet contract in the airport sector which the Directors have been
targeting and believe has significant potential. The deal with a major regional
airport for electric baggage handling vehicles utilises the technology available
to Tanfield following the Memorandum of Agreement with Azure Dynamics
Corporation.
Tanfield Holdings engineering division has won a significant contract to supply
an industrial vehicle company with tailgates. Deliveries are expected to start
in April 2005.
