                             DIRECTOR SHAREHOLDING


The Company was notified today that John Bridge, a Director of the Company,
yesterday purchased 10,000 ordinary shares at a price of 9.75 pence per share
and Mrs R G Bridge, his wife, purchased a further 2,000 shares at 9p each.

Dr Bridge's interest in the share capital of the Company is now 17,541 shares
representing 0.11 per cent. of the issued share capital.
