                    NOTIFICATION OF MAJOR INTEREST IN SHARES



The Company was yesterday informed that following a purchase of 65,000 ordinary
shares of 1p each, at a price of 55p, Canada Life Marketing Group is now
interested in 610,000 ordinary shares, representing 3.99 per cent. of the issued
share capital.
