Notice of Preliminary Results

Tanfield hereby gives notice that it will issue its Preliminary Results for the
year ending 31 December 2007 on 22 April 2008.

The Board would like to reiterate that trading in 2007 was in line with
management's expectations, while the Group has enjoyed a strong start to 2008,
with production capacity and output ahead of plan.
