Acquisition of PushPlay Interactive LLC ('PushPlay')
Bright Things are pleased to announce the acquisition of Push Play for a
combination of cash, ordinary shares in the Company and options over ordinary
shares in the Company. Application will be made for the 415,800 new ordinary
shares issued pursuant to acquisition of PushPlay to be admitted to trading on
AIM and trading is expected to commence on 5th July 2005.
PushPlay is a US based company which was formed to design and licence a games
console product, including methods capable of delivering interactive DVD content
through a remote device.
The acquisition of PushPlay gives the Company a team which has its own strong
relationships in the US market. The directors believe that the IP owned by
PushPlay has the potential to be useful for new product development, including
second iterations of Bubble. Furthermore, Push Play has identified other
commercial uses of the technology that may open new revenue streams to Bright
Things.
