              Interim Results Announcement
                            
The  Board  of  Thames  Water Plc will  announce  interim
results for the half year to 30 September 2000 on Tuesday
31 October 2000.

The  ex-dividend date will be 11 December 2000 and it  is
intended  that the interim dividend will  be  paid  on  2
April  2001 to those shareholders on the register  on  15
December 2000.
