Change of InterimResults Date

On  1  August  2000,  Thames Water Plc  notified  the  Stock
Exchange of the proposed announcement date for the Company's
Interim Results on 31 October 2000.

As a result of the recommended offer for Thames Water Plc by
RWE  AG., published on 2 October 2000, the Company will  not
issue its Interim Results announcement on that date and will
provide an appropriate update on this in due course.
