TAYLOR WOODROW PLC - BOARD APPOINTMENTS AT AGM
Taylor Woodrow plc announces that Norman Broadhurst FCA FCT was elected as a
non-executive director of the company at its AGM today.
Mr Broadhurst has succeeded Sir Kit McMahon, (who retired from the board
following the AGM), as chairman of the audit committee and will be a member of
the remuneration and nomination committees.
Sir George Russell CBE will succeed Sir Kit McMahon as deputy chairman and as
the senior independent non-executive director of Taylor Woodrow plc. He will
also chair the remuneration committee.
At the AGM, David Green and Sir Colin Corness were also re-elected to the
board.
Dr Robert Hawley, Group chairman, said: ' Sir Kit has provided excellent
service to the Group throughout his nine years on the board and I personally
have particularly appreciated his wise counsel since I assumed the
chairmanship last June. We are fortunate to have a person of Norman
Broadhurst's experience to succeed Sir Kit as chairman of the audit
committee.'

Formerly Finance Director of Railtrack plc and VSEL Consortium plc, Mr
Broadhurst (58) was appointed to the Taylor Woodrow plc's board on 15 March
2000. His other directorships include Chloride Group plc, Clubhaus plc, Old
Mutual plc and United Utilities plc.
