Board Change - Appointment of Humphrey Singer as an Independent Non Executive Director

The Board of Taylor Wimpey plc is delighted to announce the appointment of Humphrey Singer as an Independent Non Executive Director with immediate effect.

Humphrey is currently the Group Finance Director of Dixons Carphone plc, following his appointment to that role in 2014. Previously, he held the position of Group Finance Director of Dixons Retail plc and prior to that he held other senior finance related roles within Dixons, including Group Financial Controller.  Before joining Dixons he held a number of operational roles with Coca Cola Enterprises.

On his appointment to the Board of Taylor Wimpey plc, Humphrey will also become a member of the Audit Committee and the Nomination Committee.

There are no other details that require to be disclosed in respect of the appointment of Humphrey Singer pursuant to Rule 9.6.13 of the UK Listing Rules.
