              New Managing Director for Taylor Woodrow Subsidiary

20 May 2005... Taylor Woodrow has announced the promotion of Tim Peach to become
managing director of its specialist subsidiary, Taylor Woodrow Construction,
from 1st June 2005.

Most recently Operations Director for all UK construction projects, 46 year old
Mr Peach has broad experience in the industry covering Civil Engineering,
Facilities Management and Project Management. He has worked for Taylor Woodrow
since 1983 in a variety of roles and contract formats.

Chief Executive, Iain Napier. ' He has an outstanding construction pedigree. We
are fortunate to have an excellent pool of internal talent able to step up into
leadership roles in both our main house building business and subsidiary
operations.'
