TAYLOR WOODROW PLC - BOARD APPOINTMENT
Taylor Woodrow plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Norman Broadhurst
FCA FCT as a non-executive director of the Company with effect from 15 March
2000.
Formerly Finance Director of Railtrack PLC and VSEL Consortium PLC, Mr.
Broadhurst's other directorships include Chloride Group, Clubhaus plc, Old
Mutual plc and United Utilities plc.
Sir Kit McMahon has indicated that he will be retiring from the board at the
conclusion of the AGM on 12th May. Mr. Broadhurst will succeed him as
Chairman of the Audit Committee.
Commenting on Mr. Broadhurst's appointment, Dr. Robert Hawley, Chairman, said:

wealth of business and commercial experience to the position and I am
confident the appointment will prove beneficial to Taylor Woodrow and its
