Recommended Offer for Bryant Group plc
Taylor Woodrow announces that the Offer Document in relation to the
recommended Offer by ABN AMRO on behalf of Taylor Woodrow for Bryant announced
on 22nd January, 2001, is being posted to Bryant Shareholders today. The
Board of Bryant has unanimously recommended Bryant Shareholders to accept the
Offer. Forms of Acceptance should be completed and returned as soon as
possible, but in any event so as to arrive no later than 3.00 p.m. on Friday,
16th February, 2001.
Taylor Woodrow is also posting today a circular to its own shareholders
convening an Extraordinary General Meeting for 10.00 a.m. on Monday, 12th
February, 2001 to approve the Acquisition. The Board of Taylor Woodrow
unanimously recommends shareholders to vote in favour of the Acquisition and
urges shareholders to sign and return the form of proxy for use at that
meeting as soon as possible, but in any event so as to be received no later
than 10.00 a.m. on Saturday, 10th February, 2001.
