Taylor Woodrow plc ('the company') announces that it has today (9 December
1999) purchased 8,000,000 ordinary 25p shares of the company in the market
under the terms of an existing shareholder authority under Section 163
Companies Act 1985.
The shares, which were purchased at a price of 140p per share, will be
cancelled.
