Share buyback programme

Taylor Woodrow plc ('the company') commenced on 5 September 2001 a share
repurchase programme in accordance with the authorisation granted at its
Annual General Meeting on 31 May, 2001 under Section 163 Companies Act 1985.

On 5 September, 2001, the company purchased for cancellation 4,800,000 of its
25p ordinary shares at prices between 179 pence and 182 pence per share.

Further shares will be purchased by the company from time to time in the
market at prevailing market prices.
