Taylor Woodrow plc, the international developer, has completed
the appointment of the management team for its North American
operations.
In June, Taylor Woodrow announced that John R. Peshkin had
been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Taylor Woodrow,
Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary that will oversee all of
Taylor Woodrow's North American activities, including Canada,
California, Florida and Texas. In addition, Brian Johnston
has been appointed President of Monarch Development
Corporation and will oversee all of Taylor Woodrow's Canadian
operations.
Today Taylor Woodrow announces that Peter Donnantuoni has been
appointed Executive Director of Taylor Woodrow, Inc. He has
also been named Executive Director of Taylor Woodrow's Texas
operations.
Kathy Clayton will continue to serve as Vice President of
Finance for Taylor Woodrow, Inc., in an expanded role.
Richard Pope will continue to serve as President of Taylor
Woodrow's operations in California and Nevada.
In Florida, Keith Bass has been appointed Vice President and
will be responsible for operations at all of the Florida
projects with the exception of the development operations at
Addison Reserve and Mirasol (Palm Beach), which will continue
to be managed by Peter Donnantuoni.
In Texas, Tim Towell has been appointed Vice President
responsible for the company's projects there. He and his
family will be relocating to Austin this summer.
Keith Egerton, Group Chief Executive, said 'As the new Taylor
Woodrow moves forward, we are firmly focused on realising the
profitable growth opportunities and improving the financial
returns of our worldwide housing and property businesses.
That is why, following our recent acquisition of Monarch's
minority interests, we are streamlining our North American
operations into this simple and effective management
structure. This reorganisation will not only improve the
reporting process, it will also enable the very capable
management teams throughout North America to share financial
resources, product development and general management
expertise, thereby strengthening our operational performance
and prospects in this key market.
We look forward to continued success in North America under
their leadership'.
Taylor Woodrow is a leader in international housing and
property, supported by specialist construction expertise. In
the year ended 31 December 1999 it had total revenues of
£1.5 billion and pre-tax profits of £125 million.
