Senior Management Appointment

Tekcapital plc (AIM: TEK), an international provider of technology and intellectual property services, is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Kayat as Vice President Sales and Marketing. Michael will be responsible for further developing Tekcapital's global sales and marketing activities.

Michael is a highly experienced technology sales and marketing executive and has a strong track record in leading global product sales teams within a range of markets and technology sectors, in particular in deploying disruptive technologies in the context of open innovation programme.

Over the past 15 years, he has held senior sales and marketing positions at Exa Corporation, a NASDAQ-listed physics simulation company, and SMAL Camera Technologies, a designer of industry-leading digital imaging solution which was subsequently acquired by Cypress Semiconductor. Prior to this he also served as VP Sales and Marketing at two leading phonics companies, Ocean Optics and B&W Tek, where he led global teams in deploying innovative products.
