Toad plc (the 'Company')

Board Appointment



The Company announces that David Voss, former Managing Director of PHH Services
and PHH Leasing in the UK and a director of Hertz Europe, has been appointed to
the board of Toad plc, the vehicle security, audio and telematics company, as a
non-executive director.



David Voss, 52, was also founder and Managing Director of VELO Limited, a
subsidiary of Dresdner Kleinwort Benson.  As well as being a director of
Kleinwort Benson Limited, Mr Voss acted as Chairman or Managing Director of
several subsidiaries including Kleinwort Benson Fleet Finance Limited, VELO
Motor Accident Management Limited (a joint venture with Aon Risk Services),
London Motorentals, and Pyxys SA (France).



Peter Ward, Executive Chairman of Toad plc, commented:



'I am delighted to welcome David to our board.  David's experience of the fleet
and vehicle insurance markets will enable him to make an invaluable contribution
to our existing core operations in insurance reinstatement and to our embryonic
telematics business'.



There are no details that are required to be disclosed under paragraph 6.F.2(b)
to (g) of the Listing Rules in connection with the appointment of David Voss.
