                    PLACING OF 3,688,880 NEW ORDINARY SHARES


Toad, the telematics and insurance re-instatement company, has today placed a
total of 3,688,880 new ordinary shares at 19.5p per share to raise £719,331.60
(before expenses) for the purpose of the company's working capital. The shares
are expected to be listed on the official list and admitted to trading on the
London Stock Exchange on the 2nd of September 2003.
