TOAD signs exclusive partnership agreement with Datafactory AG



TOAD plc today signed an exclusive agreement with Datafactory AG, one of
Germany's leading telematics software development companies, for its web-based
telematics software solution.



TOAD Telematics currently uses Datafactory as the back end solution for its
Actra Fleet management system and has acquired the UK licence with exclusivity
for a minimum of two years. The system will be hosted at TOAD's UK head office
in Mitcham, Surrey.



Stuart Gall, director of TOAD's Telematics division, said today ;


'The Datafactory web-based fleet management software is excellent and provides
us with one of the most advanced real-time fleet management solutions in
Europe. This exclusive licensing deal will enable TOAD to re-sell the solution
to other telematics providers in the UK.  In addition to our own Actra system
the Datafactory software already interfaces with the GAP, Benefon and
Blaupunkt GPS units and we will be looking to develop partnership
opportunities with other companies who require a powerful back-end fleet
management solution to their existing systems.

established in the vehicle aftermarket and are well placed to exploit the UK

TOAD launched its new telematics division at the beginning of the year and has
just appointed a National Sales Manager - Stephen Clark, who has been in the
telematics industry for over four years.
