Templeton Emerging Markets Investment Trust PLC ("TEMIT")
On behalf of TEMIT, Franklin Templeton Investment Management Limited reports the
unaudited net asset value ("NAV") of TEMIT as at 31st July 2007 was £2,136m
representing a NAV of 432.92 per share.
In accordance with the Association of Investment Companies recommendations, NAV
has been calculated based only on the capital value of underlying assets,
excluding accumulated or accrued income, and using bid price information
relating to the underlying assets as at market close on the trading day before
this announcement.
