BOARD CHANGES AND APPOINTMENT OF CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER TO TEATHER &
GREENWOOD HOLDINGS PLC
Following the Group's Annual General Meeting, which is expected to take place
in August, Jeremy Delmar-Morgan, Chairman, will become Non-executive Chairman.
Philip Ashfield, currently an Executive Director, steps-down from the Board,
but will remain a Director of Teather & Greenwood Limited.
Ken Ford remains Chief Executive, Brian Rowbotham, Finance Director and Derek
Boothman and Robin Derville continue as non-executive directors.
Nicholas Stagg, 41, a non-executive director since August of last year, is
appointed Chief Operating Officer of Teather & Greenwood Holdings plc with
immediate effect. He has particular responsibility for improving the
company's overall efficiency and developing its information technology,
systems and administration.
Mr Stagg has a proven track record of managing and developing complex
businesses within the public company arena. He joins from W S Atkins PLC,
where he was Managing Director of their international businesses, with
operations in 20 countries. Prior to its acquisition by W S Atkins plc, he was
Managing Director of Lambert Smith Hampton plc, one of the United Kingdom's
leading property consultants with over 1,000 staff in 28 offices. He joined
in 1992 as Group Finance Director. A Chartered Accountant, he is also a
non-executive director of Inventive Leisure plc.
Jeremy Delmar-Morgan, Chairman, comments:
'The Board changes announced today are entirely as planned at the time of the
Group's flotation in 1998 and in line with our objective of continuing to
develop Teather & Greenwood as a leading independent stockbroker.

shall continue to benefit from his counsel.
'We are delighted to have secured Nick Stagg's services. He has immense
experience of business improvement and development, gained in a range of

contribution as we continue to build the business.'
