Ten makes three new appointments to Content Team

 

Ten Lifestyle Group plc, the leading technology-driven lifestyle and travel platform for the world's wealthy and mass affluent, is pleased to announce the strengthening of its in-house Content team, with the appointment of three new senior hires: Anthony Thornton, Jane Davenport and Jeanne Cheung.

 

Anthony Thornton has taken on the position of Global Content Director, which sees him leading on content strategy and delivery. This includes heading up Ten's global content team across the globe from San Francisco to Tokyo, publishing in 11 languages, for its more than 2 million members.

 

Anthony joins Ten from global design bible Wallpaper* where he was Digital Director. In this role, he led the digital arm of the iconic title to record-breaking user and revenue growth.

 

Prior to joining Wallpaper*, Anthony was Head of Digital Content for the British Film Institute and Editor of NME.COM. He was also Digital Director for Time Inc UK's men's brands and later Digital Director for upmarket women's brands, including Marie Claire and InStyle. He has won numerous awards both for his work as a journalist and as a digital specialist.

Jane Davenport has joined Ten as Head of Content & Editorial Americas and Jeanne Cheung has joined as Head of Content & Editorial APAC.  

 

Jane Davenport is based in Ten's Toronto office and was most recently Managing Editor of the Toronto Star for several years. Jane is highly experienced in content strategy and management with a background in digital publishing at a number of Canadian news organisations.

 

Jeanne Cheung is based in Ten's Hong Kong office. Jeanne is an experienced lifestyle editor and content marketeer, who has successfully led multiple custom publishing projects for clients, including Starwood and Shangri-La. 

 

At Ten, Jane and Jeanne are responsible for growing and optimising the content offering across all of Ten's platforms and e-content in their respective markets, with the aim of inspiring and better informing members based on their preferences and profiles.   

 

These key roles further strengthen Ten's Content team to a total of 28 full-time staff, plus freelancers, across the globe.
