                  Core works with Boots and Cosnova on key strategic projects

The Core Business (LSE: CORE) is pleased to announce that a consultancy agreement with Boots - the UK's biggest pharmacy
chain - has now moved to a second stage.

Since June 2006, Core has been working closely with Boots as consultants on the first stage of a strategic initiative
and has now secured an agreement to move this project to its next stage.

Core's Chief Executive Officer Stirling Murray said today, "I am delighted that we have cemented a healthy and ongoing
relationship with Boots and we look forward to continuing working closely alongside this company. The Boots project adds
a major high street brand to our boutique portfolio and I believe this will provide The Core Business with important
openings as well as income".

In a further development, Core has signed a consultancy agreement with Cosnova, which owns Germany's fastest growing
colour cosmetics brand `essence'. The Company will assist Cosnova in replicating its success in Europe in the UK, and
believes the brand will be well-received as an innovative colour cosmetics brand for the mass market.
