                               Trading Statement

The  Core  Business  Plc (LSE: CORE), the AIM-listed beauty  and  personal  care
distribution,  and  branding  company, is  pleased  to  announce  the  following
developments to its business;

  ·    Grace Your Face, a skincare brand created and wholly owned by the Company,
     will be launched in over 700 Superdrug stores. Initially it will launch in 300
     stores on large free standing display units from 9th July. The brand will move
     onto shelf displays into 700 stores from 3rd August as part of an exclusive
     agreement with Superdrug which runs until December 2009.


  ·    Agreement has been reached with Batavi Corp, of Holland to distribute their
     innovative  anti-perspirant protection product 1-2Dry,  under  a  five-year
     exclusive agreement for Great Britain. The Company has started discussions with
     several major retailers and a launch is expected in the third quarter of 2008.

The Grace Your Face skincare range is the first brand that The Core Business has
developed  in-house for its own distribution purposes. As a result, the  Company
will  receive  much stronger margins on this product, which has been  conceived,
branded,  procured and marketed in-house over the last six months.  The  Company
has  a strong incentive to invest management time and effort into this brand and
the initial orders indicate that it will be a successful long term product range
for the Company.

Stirling Murray, Chief Executive of The Core Business said today -

"Trade  reactions  to the Grace Your Face skincare brand  both  in  the  UK  and
overseas  have  been exceptional and we are optimistic that  it  will  become  a
significant source of revenue and profit for the business. In addition, securing
the contract for 1-2Dry moves the Company into a further category of beauty that
we will exploit through our wide network of retail contacts."
