Tesco PLC (the "Company") has been notified that the below Director of the Company purchased Ordinary Shares of 5 pence each in the Company as set out below:

John Allan will not be participating in the tender offer announced by the Company on 19 June 2017 to purchase certain of its outstanding Notes, which included the Company's 5.5% 2033 Tesco PLC Medium Term Notes.
