Tesco PLC announces that it was notified on 13 May that on 10 May the Tesco
Employees Share Scheme Trustees Limited purchased 1,000,000 Ordinary Shares of 5
pence each in the Company at an average price of 263.353p. Tesco PLC also
announces that it was notified today that on 13 May the Tesco Employees Share
Scheme Trustees Limited purchased 1,500,000 Ordinary Shares of 5 pence each in
the Company at an average price of 262.897p.
