                              Additional Listing

Application has today been made for the admission of 9,000 new ordinary shares
of 0.5p each in the Company to trading on the Alternative Investment Market.
These shares have been issued pursuant to acceptances of the offer for
Bickerton plc in January 2000. The shares will rank pari passu with the
existing ordinary shares of the Company. Dealings are expected to commence in
the new ordinary shares on 22 August 2001.
