The issuer has made the following amendment to the Director's Shareholding
announcement released today at 11.37 under RNS No 3990O.

The number of shares purchased by Mr Stephen Dean should read 4,250,000 and not
4,500,000 as previously stated.

Mr Dean's shareholding now totals 28,750,000 shares (10.95%) and not 29,000,000
(11.04%) as previously stated.

All other details remain unchanged.

                 Director's Shareholding

The  Company was today informed that Mr Stephen Dean  had
purchased  today 4,250,000 ordinary shares in Artisan  at
14p per share.  Mr Dean's resultant holding in Artisan is
28,750,000  ordinary shares representing  10.95%  of  the
company's issued share capital.
