Small Shareholder Dealing Programme
Artisan (UK) plc has engaged Georgeson Shareholder Communications Ltd to
undertake a small shareholder dealing programme.
The programme, which commences on the 19th October 2001 and is available until
25th January 2002 will allow Artisan Shareholders holding 10,000 or fewer
Artisan ordinary shares, to deal at a reduced cost. Shareholders, may either
sell their shares, or gift their shares to Sharegift, or purchase additional
Artisan shares which become available through the programme.
The share price is determined by the market price on the weekly dealing day
following the request by a shareholder for disposal or purchase.
Artisan has authorised this programme as an opportunity for small shareholders
to economically realise their investments or increase them to a more
meaningful shareholding. The programme should also produce cost savings for
future years, thus providing a benefit to shareholders as a whole.
