DIRECTORATE CHANGES

APPOINTMENT OF TWO NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTORS

The Board of F&C Global Smaller Companies PLC is pleased to announce the appointments of Anja Balfour and David Stileman as non-executive Directors with effect from 1 June 2015.   

Anja Balfour is currently a non-executive director of Schroder Japan Growth Fund plc, Martin Currie Pacific Trust and Venture Scotland. 

David Stileman is currently a member of the Advisory Board of Corsair Capital LLP, FTV Capital LLP and a member of the UK Advisory Group of Silicon Valley Bank.  He is also a consultant to Standard Chartered Bank.

RETIREMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

The Company announces that Les Cullen, a non-executive Director of F&C Global Smaller Companies PLC since September 2006, will be retiring from the Board following the Company's AGM on Thursday 23 July 2015. 

There are no further details or disclosures required under LR 9.6.13R.
