The Gym Group plc announces that Philip Newborough and David Burns have resigned from the Board with immediate effect.

Penny Hughes, Chairwoman of The Gym Group plc, commented:

"On behalf of everyone at The Gym, I would like to thank Philip and David for the extremely positive contribution they have made to the business. Philip was the founding investor of The Gym along with John Treharne in 2007 and has been instrumental in helping support the business in its growth over the years. David joined the Board when Phoenix invested in 2013 and helped us grow and develop both before and after our IPO in November 2015. We wish them well in the future."
