Appointment of a New Director
The Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Klaus Hammer as a fourth independent director of the Company, with effect from 1 March 2014.
Helen Mahy, Chairman of TRIG, said:

With his broad experience and operational leadership roles in the power industry across a range of European geographies, Klaus's skills are complementary to those of the other Directors. Based on his long international career at E.ON and Royal Dutch Shell, he brings with him an excellent understanding of the dynamics of energy markets."
Klaus G. Hammer
Klaus Hammer (German), aged 58, is a graduate of the University of Hamburg and gained an MBA at IMD Lausanne. He was previously Chief Operating Officer of the global CCGT gas power plant business of E.ON, and has served on a variety of boards including E.ON Värmekraft Sverige AB, Horizon Nuclear Power Ltd. and the UK Association of Electricity Producers. Prior to E.ON, which he joined in 2005, he spent 20 years with Royal Dutch Shell in a variety of roles in both Europe and Africa. Among his other current roles he is a public member of Network Rail.
