Notification of Partnership Discussions - Update
Notice is hereby given that, the Boards of The Wrekin Housing Group Limited ("WHGL") and The Housing Plus Group Limited ("HPGL") have concluded their due diligence and approved the planned merger of the two organisations. The combined group will manage c.34,000 homes across Staffordshire, Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin.
In terms of the legal structure of the new group, the Issuer will become a direct subsidiary of HPGL. The expected completion date for the merger is January 2025, subject to lender consents.
Wrekin Housing Group is registered as a charitable community benefit society under the Co-operative and Community Benefit Society Act 2014 with registered number 8067 and as a registered provider with the Social Housing Regulator with registered number LH4220.
Housing Plus Group is registered as a charitable community benefit society under the Co-operative and Community Benefit Society Act 2014 with registered number 30224R and as a registered provider with the Social Housing Regulator with registered number L4491.
