Sanne Trustee Company UK Limited as trustee of The Evolution Group Plc Employee
Share Incentive Plan Trust.

The Evolution Group Plc ("Evolution" or the "Company"), the investment bank and
retail fund management group, announces that Sanne Trustee Company UK Limited
(the "Trustee") in its capacity as the trustee of The Evolution Group Plc
Employee Share Incentive Plan Trust (the "Plan") on 5 September 2006 purchased
11,375 Ordinary shares of 1p each at a price of 141.75 pence per share and that
Evolution has today issued 8,075 Ordinary shares of 1p each credited as fully
paid at 141.75 pence per share to the Trustee as "matching shares" under the
terms of the Plan.

In addition, on 5 September 2006 the Trustee advised the Company that it
purchased 2,498 Ordinary shares of 1p each at a price of 149.75 pence per share
on 19 June 2006. These shares were acquired using funds paid to the Trustee as
dividends for the Partnership and Matching shares held by the trustee under this
Plan. The number of Ordinary shares acquired by the Trustee for each of the
directors named below was 34.

The Trustee holds the shares as Nominee for the participants of the Plan.

The total purchase and issue included the following shares in respect of certain
of its directors:
