                                 Board Changes


The Board of Evolution is pleased to announce that Lord MacLaurin of Knebworth,
DL has been appointed as its Senior  Non-Executive Director with effect from 13
July, 2004.  Lord MacLaurin will replace Sir Malcolm Field as the Senior  Non-
Executive Director.  Sir Malcolm Field and George Loudon have expressed a wish
to stand down from the Board and  their resignations have today been accepted.

Lord MacLaurin (age 67) is currently Chairman of Vodafone Group Plc, where he
chairs the Nominations and Governance  Committee and sits on the Remuneration
Committee.  He was formerly Chairman of Tesco Plc from 1985 to 1997, and has 
been a director of Enterprise Oil Plc, Guinness Plc, National Westminster Bank
Plc and Whitbread Plc.

Richard Griffiths, Evolution's Executive Chairman, commented:

"The Board of Evolution is delighted to have appointed a Non-Executive Director
of Lord MacLaurin's calibre and  experience. We are very much looking forward to
working with him and seeking his counsel as we continue to grow the  Evolution
business into the future.

"We are grateful to Sir Malcolm Field and George Loudon for their contributions
to the Group since they joined the  Board upon the acquisition of Beeson
Gregory.  It is two years since the acquisition and the Board feel it is the
right  time for them to step down."

He was also a director of The Health Clinic Plc. An administration order was
made on 11 October 2002 in respect of The  Health Clinic Plc.
