The Evolution Group Plc ("the Company") announces that it received notification
on 6 September 2005 from SVG Capital plc and SVG Investment Managers Limited
("SVG IM") that SVG Capital plc and funds managed by SVG IM were interested in
7,362,029 Ordinary Shares of 1p each in the Company representing approximately
3.31% of the issued ordinary share capital as at 5 September 2005.
