TR-1: Notification of Major Interests in Shares

The Evolution Group Plc (the "Company") announces that it received notification
today from Schroders plc ("Schroders") that on 11 May 2007 Schroders were
interested in 11,190,358 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company ("Shares")
representing an indirect interest in approximately 5.052% of the issued Ordinary
Share Capital of the Company. This notification is in respect of voting rights
above the 5% threshold.

The chain of controlled undertakings through which the voting rights are
effectively held is Schroder Investment Management Limited ("SIM"); 11,053,693
Shares (4.99%) and Schroder Investment Management North America Limited
("SIMNA"); 136,665 Shares (0.06%).

The Shares are held in portfolios managed by SIM and SIMNA on a discretionary
basis for clients under investment management agreements.
