                              Results of Offers


The Company is pleased to announce that it has now received valid acceptances
in respect a further 127,027 Christows Shares, following the paying up of
amounts outstanding on all outstanding Christows Warrants, which therefore
qualify for the Ordinary Offer, and in respect of a further 3,520 Christows
Shares. Accordingly a further 12,815,791 new ordinary shares of 1p each in EVC
Christows Plc have been allotted in respect of which application to trading on
AIM has been made. Dealings are expected to commence on 7 December 2000. The
Ordinary Offer is now wholly unconditional following 100 per cent. acceptances
being received and has therefore been closed.


In addition, valid acceptances have been received in respect of 598,589
Christows A Shares (representing 100 per cent. of that class), following the
paying up of amounts outstanding on such shares. Accordingly a further
58,763,473 new ordinary shares of 1p each in EVC Christows Plc have been
allotted in respect of which application to trading on AIM has been made.
Dealings are expected to commence on 7 December 2000. The A Offer is now
wholly unconditional and has therefore been closed.


Christows Shareholders and Christows A Shareholders who have validly accepted
the Ordinary Offer or the A Offer will receive share certificates or will have
their CREST accounts credited with new ordinary shares of 1p each in the
Company as soon as possible, but in any event no later than 13 December 2000.


For the avoidance of doubt the Company's issued ordinary share capital
comprises 774,240,588 ordinary shares of 1p each.


Expressions used in this announcement shall bear the same meanings as in the
offer document issued on 26 October 2000, unless the context otherwise
requires.
