                       CapitalTech plc ('the Company')

The Board of the Company announces that on 23 April 2001 the Company has, in
(final) pursuance of members' resolutions passed on 20 April 2001, purchased
for cancellation 100,000 Ordinary Shares of 2p each at a price of 21p each.
Following this purchase there are now 57,333,814 Ordinary Shares of 2p in
issue.
