Re Investmnt in Broadspan Plc

CapitalTech plc ('the Company' or 'CapitalTech') Investment

The Company's Directors have decided to provide fully against the Company's
investment in Broadspan plc which was acquired in exchange for the company's
previous investment (amounting to some £800,000) in Telematix Limited, which
was subsequently acquired by Broadspan plc.  This follows the aborted
flotation on AIM of Broadspan due to poor market conditions.  Telematix has
been placed into liquidation due to the failure to raise additional capital.

As indicated in the Company's interim report on 27 February 2001, CapitalTech
has continued to restrict its activities to residential property investment.
Following consultation with the Company's auditors, Messrs BDO Stoy Hayward,
it is anticipated that, notwithstanding this full provision, the net asset
value per share of the Company at the year ended 30 April 2001 would be not
less than 31.3p, the figure as announced on 27 February 2001.
