THOR MINING PLC
HIGH GRADE GOLD ASSAYS FROM SPRING HILL
New assay results, including one assay of more than 100 grams/tonne gold (Au), have been received from the 2013 Spring Hill Reverse Circulation drill program at Thor Mining PLC's ("Thor") (AIM, ASX: THR) Spring Hill gold project south of Darwin in Australia's Northern Territory.
Highlights include:
SHRC253 10metres (m) at 14.1grams/tonne (g/t) gold from 93m,
inside a broader envelope of 21m at 7.2 g/t from 82m,
Including: 1m at 105.1 g/t from 99m
The hole terminated in mineralisation at 4.1 g/t Au.
Insufficient information exists, currently to assess true widths of mineralisation, or how it may affect further planned work, however the grades are clearly above those seen at Spring Hill in recent times.
A more detailed announcement will be made once further information has been received and an appropriate assessment made.
