Thor Mining PLC (the 'Company') was notified on 13 April 2007 that Batavia
Mining Limited ('Batavia') had sold 3,000,000 Chess Depositary Interests each
comprising one ordinary shares of 0.3p each in the capital of the Company ('CDIs
') at an average price of AUD 0.468 each and 1,100,000 Chess Depositary Interest
Warrants ('CDI Warrants') at an average price of AUD 0.347 each. Following this
transaction Batavia now holds 13,000,000 ordinary shares of 0.3p each in the
share capital of the Company in CDIs representing 10.0% of the issued share
capital of the Company and 7,400,000 CDI Warrants representing 11.0% of the
Warrants in issue.
