In accordance with sections 324 to 328 of the Companies Act 1985 (as amended), 
Dr DA Dimeloe has notified the Company today that a person connected with him
sold 1,800 Ordinary Shares in the Company, representing 0.02 percent. of the
issued share capital,  at 548p per Ordinary Share on 13 October 2006.

Following this disposal, Dr Dimeloe and persons connected with him remain
interested in  21,800 Ordinary Shares in the Company, representing 0.18 per
cent. of its issued share capital.
