Contract Announcement
The Board of Digital Barriers plc (AIM: DGB) (the "Board"), the specialist provider of advanced surveillance technologies to the security and defence sectors, is pleased to announce the award of a contract extension from an existing UK-based customer. The contract extension follows on from the successful delivery to that customer of a fully integrated Unattended Ground Sensor ("UGS") solution, which was sold and announced in November last year. The extension, which covers the provision of further products as well as certain services related to the UGS solution, is valued at approximately £2.34 million and will be fulfilled in this financial year.
Colin Evans, Managing Director of Digital Barriers commented:
"Since its launch last year, we have made significant progress in taking our integrated ground sensor solution to customers around the world. The technology is currently in trials with multiple customers in the United States, Middle East and Asia Pacific. This customer first acquired our integrated ground sensor solution shortly after its launch last year, and it has now been deployed successfully. This contract extension illustrates customer confidence in the technology and further strengthens our position in the UK market, where we continue to provide world-class surveillance solutions to our customer base."
