Management Appointments
Digital Barriers plc ("Digital Barriers" or the "Company"), a company focused on the provision of specialist products and services to the homeland security market, today confirms two non-Board senior management appointments.
Digital Barriers is pleased to announce the appointment of John Woollhead to the role of Company Secretary. Mr Woollhead, formerly Company Secretary of Detica Group plc from January 2005 until January 2009, joins the Company with immediate effect and will carry out his duties on a part-time basis.
The Company also announces the appointment of Ian McLaren to the role of Interim Head of Finance pending the appointment in due course of a permanent Finance Director. Mr McLaren replaces previous Interim Head of Finance, Craig Fairey, who leaves the Company to take up a position closer to his family home in Yorkshire.
Mr McLaren, who assumes his new role with immediate effect, has served in a number of senior finance roles in the business and IT services industry, including Serco plc, Spirax-Sarco Engineering plc and Detica Group plc. He is both a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) and Chartered Director.
