                           Transaction in Own Shares



Tiger Resource Finance p.l.c. ('Tiger' or the 'Company') announces that on 19
October 2005, it purchased 2,900,000 ordinary shares at prices between 3.75 and
3.90 pence per ordinary share. These shares are to be held as treasury stock.


Following this purchase, Tiger now holds 25,800,000 ordinary shares in treasury.
